As many of our guests hail from in the NYC-area or have local housing available, we’re not planning to reserve a block of rooms for the wedding weekend. If you’re in need of accommodations, we recommend choosing a place near the N/Q or 7 subway lines. Easy travel to our wedding locations! Here are few of our favorite area housing ideas…

The Paper Factory Hotel

If you’re interested in staying in Long Island City, The Paper Factory Hotel is about 10 minutes from Manhattan, and close to both our wedding locations. The hotel also hosts Mundo, a Michelin recommended mediterranean tapas bar, and one of our favorite restaurants in Queens.

Sheraton Four Points

Another fine option in Long Island City, The Sheraton Four Points — Long Island City/Queensboro Bridge has a killer rooftop view of Manhattan.

Manhattan?

If you’d like the Manhattan experience you have a wealth of options. Visit tripadvisor.com to find some fantastic choices. Or you could check kayak.com, hotwire.com, or hotels.com to save some cash. Remember to choose accommodations near the N/Q or 7 subway lines (Manhattan Midtown East is swell too) for easy wedding access. If you have additional search questions, let us know!

airbnb!

One of our favorite ways to travel is to stay at an airbnb! (For the uninitiated, you create a profile and stay at a host’s home. Often, it’s cheaper than hotels and definitely homier.) Here are some great options in Midtown Manhattan and Astoria during the wedding weekend. Reminder: look for a location near the N/Q or 7 subway lines.
