The Museum of the Moving Image is “the country’s only museum dedicated to the art, history, technique, and technology of the moving image in all its forms.” It’s a fascinating look into photography, film, special effects, and filmography. Hours: 11:30 - 7 on Saturdays & Sundays, and Wednesday - Friday from 10:30 - 5. There’s often a groupon available for tickets.

A fantastic market of food and local Queens art, jewelry, and other cool stuff located at 5-25 46th Ave. LIC Flea & Food runs Saturdays & Sundays from 11 AM - 6 PM. It’s a five minute walk to the wedding location and the perfect place to get a beer and some snacks before heading to The Gantry for the PferdieHolmes Wedding!
While you’re in NYC you might wanna see a show, and you might want to pay less than a million dollars for tickets. (If you want tickets to Hamilton, you have to pay the million, sacrifice what you love the most in the world, and do a rain dance. You can THEN enter the lottery.) A New York institution in Times Square for buying day-of discount tickets. Tickets are purchased in person at one of the three TKTS booths— Times Square, Southstreet Seaport, or Downtown Brooklyn for 20-50% off. You can download the app for up-to-date listings for what is available.
